Born in Bulgaria in 1966

1980 - 1985 School of Art, Plovdiv

1987 - 1990 Sofia Academy of Art

Has been living as a freelance artist in Germany since 1995

"My work is driven by intuition, experience, and a constant dialogue with material and space. Over the years, this dialogue has evolved into a consistent visual language shaped by patience, repetition, and refinement.

The studio remains a place of exploration rather than conclusion. Each painting develops through a gradual process of layering, adjusting, and balancing — allowing structure and openness to coexist. Decisions are not made abruptly but through sustained engagement with surface, form, and proportion.

Abstraction, for me, is not an escape from reality but a way of clarifying perception. By reducing the visual field to essential relationships, the work creates space for attention and contemplation.

For decades, my practice has been dedicated to investigating how a painting can inhabit a space — not merely as an object on a wall, but as a presence that interacts with light, architecture, and the viewer’s perspective."
